Carroll Parham Bio Picture

Raised near Glen Rose, Texas, just below the foothills of Chalk Mountain, where his mom played piano and his dad led the singing at Cottonwood Baptist Church. Carroll and his brother both picked up gospel music and piano at a very early age.

As he grew up, Carroll's interest turned to guitar and steel guitar. He played steel guitar for Joe Paul Nichols and the 5 Pennies for seven years. He also appared on The Louisiana Hayride. Later, he played the steel guitar, dobro, and produced shows at The Cross Timbers Opry in Stephenville for 28 years. During that time he worked at several radio stations, and joined the KEQX Pure Country family in January of 2009.

You can find Carroll at Fiddle Sticks Music Shop, where he and Debbie Bridgewater teach music on all the string instruments, piano, as well as voice.
